Carved Culture launched its first video course, transforming the original Complete Kalimba Player book into a guided learning experience. The Kalimba Starter Course makes it easier for beginners to learn by watching, playing along and developing their skills step by step.
From Book to Video Lessons
Our first kalimba teaching book gave musicians a structured introduction to the instrument but we wanted to make learning even simpler by demonstrating techniques rather than relying entirely on written explanations. The result was the Kalimba Starter Course, featuring 10 focused video lessons that guide beginners through the essentials, from playing their first notes and understanding notation to learning songs, chords, rhythm and basic recording techniques.
Everything Beginners Need
Instead of searching through dozens of pages or disconnected tutorials, students can follow the lessons in order, watching each technique before practising it themselves. The downloadable course also includes the Complete Kalimba Player eBook, an 80-song kalimba songbook and a notation template, giving students additional resources to continue learning and creating their own melodies.
