Founded in 2016, Carved Culture is a family-run business helping people discover musical instruments from around the world. We choose instruments for their sound, quality, cultural value, and story, often working with suppliers and artisan communities who help keep traditional craft alive.

Why we started

Ryan and Sadie wanted to build something meaningful. Ryan’s background in selling pre-owned goods showed him the difference between disposable products and things that are made to last. When they became parents, that belief became stronger. They wanted to create a business that could support their family while making better choices for customers, artisans, and the planet.

Sustainability

Carved Culture began with sustainable handcrafted products, but over time music became the heart of the business. Traditional instruments could do more than make sound. They could connect people to culture, creativity, learning, and calm.

Music Education

We are committed to making music education accessible through blogs, videos, books, and courses. Our team has created more than 2,000 free learning resources, including tutorials, guides, tabs, and articles for musicians, percussionists, and sound therapists.

Giving Back

We have also supported Child Rescue Nepal, raising over £3,000 with our suppliers to help provide school meals for children in need.

Our Purpose

Carved Culture exists to help people discover meaningful instruments, learn music with confidence, and support traditional craft. Stay updated with latest news.
