Description

This Agba Seed Cluster instrument is a wonderful and unique rattle made from traditional Agba seeds from Nigeria. Hand crafted from the Gossweilerodendron balsamiferum tree found in the West African rainforest, these seeds are commonly used to treat various ailments, and their hard outer shells are typically removed. The Agba Seed Cluster Rattle has a light, mellow tone that is similar to Ekpiri, and practitioners of Santeria, Ifa, and other religious practices often offer it to the deity Sango. The rattles come as a cluster of seeds attached to a large stick but sizes and colours may vary. With this Agba rattle, you can experience the power and beauty of traditional African culture.
