Description
The Televi Stick Shaker is a handcrafted percussion instrument made from speckled yellow bamboo and a textured reddish-brown gourd, shaped through a precise traditional process where the bamboo is cut at the node for strength and the gourd is carefully selected, drilled, and hollowed to form its sound chamber, then sanded, bonded, and oil-finished to bring out its natural character. It produces a bright, high-pitched rattle with a crisp, crunchy sound, similar to a rattlesnake, adding sharp rhythm and texture that cuts through instantly. Lightweight, comfortable, and highly responsive, it reacts to the smallest movement, whether shaken for flow or struck for a sharper accent, making it simple to play, addictive to use, and hard to put down.
